1. ​​​Determine which sport to offer
2. Establish age divisions, such as: 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, JV and/or Varsity high school levels
3. Arrange locations and create a schedule for practices and games
4. Estimate costs; plan for fundraisers
5. Recruit volunteers; divide responsibilities
6. Train coaches
7. Generate and distribute permission slips and medical release forms
8. Advertise through local home school groups and churches
